Supplementary Applications
In addition to applying for admission to York University through the Ontario Universities Application Centre or York University’s Application System, applicants to the following programs in the Faculty of Fine Arts must complete a supplementary application:
- Dance (Choreography, Performance, Technique) BFA
- Design
- Film Production (BFA)
- Film Screenwriting (BFA)
- Music
- Theatre
- Visual Art (Studio Art) BFA
If you have applied to more than one of these programs, you must submit a separate supplementary application for each.
Please note: You cannot submit a supplementary application until after you have applied for admission to York University and have received your York Reference Number.
Submission deadlines for supplementary applications vary. You will be notified of your supplementary application submission deadline by the program after your application to York University has been processed.
Dance BA applicants are invited to fill out a supplementary application outlining their dance background and interests. It is not a requirement, and will not be used to make admission decisions.
A supplementary application is not required for entry in to the Digital Media (BA), Film: Cinema & Media Studies (BA) and Visual Art & Art History (BA) programs.
