Fine Arts Governance
The academic governance of the Faculty of Fine Arts is administered by Faculty Council and a group of standing committees that assist Faculty Council in carrying out its mandate.
Committees of Council include:
- Executive Committee
- Tenure & Promotion Committee
- Academic/Administrative Policy & Planning Committee (AAPPC)
- Faculty of Fine Arts Reseach Grants and Awards Committee (FARGAC)
- Committee on Student Awards
The standing committees have specified representation and responsibilities relating to matters of academic policy and planning, curriculum, faculty tenure and promotion, faculty research, student awards etc.
Faculty Council and its committees meet on a regular basis throughout the academic year.
